Voice capture on mobile
Add the PWA to your home screen, then capture ideas by voice with one tap.
We don't have native iOS or Android apps yet. The PWA covers most capture use cases and fits in a home screen icon.
Install as PWA (iOS)
- Open Safari and go to staging.distro.digital
- Tap the Share button
- Scroll down → Add to Home Screen
- Name it "distro", hit Add
Install as PWA (Android)
- Open Chrome and go to staging.distro.digital
- Menu (three dots) → Install app or Add to home screen
Voice capture
Open the PWA, tap the microphone icon in the top-right of any app surface. Hold to record (up to 60 seconds), release to stop. We upload the audio, run transcription via your AI provider, and drop the result into the inbox.
Alternative: Telegram
If you'd rather skip the PWA entirely, just use the Telegram bot. Send a voice note to @DistroDigitalBot. Same outcome, fewer taps, and Telegram's audio UX is better than the web's.
Permissions
The PWA needs microphone permission. iOS asks on first use. If you deny, you can re-grant via Settings → Safari → Microphone. Android: Settings → Apps → distro → Permissions.
