You ship. You build.
You hate marketing.
distro is the daily distribution practice for people who'd rather be building. Capture ideas anywhere. Score before writing. Draft in your voice. Learn from every post.
Good morning, Karmendra.
You're not bad at distribution. You just don't have a system.
Most founders treat distribution as an afterthought — something they'll "get to" after shipping. Three months pass. The product's good. Nobody's heard of it. Sound familiar?
The 11pm blank box
You sit down to write. You stare at the cursor for 20 minutes. You close the tab. Tomorrow, you tell yourself. You don't.
The "what do I say" freeze
You shipped a cool feature. You know you should post. But "announcing our new..." feels gross. So the update dies in Slack.
The post-mortem that never happens
One post does 50K views. Another flops. You don't know why. No system to learn, so you make the same mistakes again.
Distribution as a daily craft
Four connected rituals that turn scattered ideas into a steady practice. Ten minutes a day, done before coffee.
Catch ideas wherever they strike
Voice on walks. Telegram DMs. Chrome share sheet. Every idea lands tagged and ready.
Score before you write
8-factor rubric in 6 seconds. Hook, specificity, fit, timing. Weak ideas die fast.
One idea, four platforms
X thread, LinkedIn, Reddit, YouTube Shorts — drafted in your voice, in ten seconds.
Every post becomes a lesson
Automated post-mortems. Pattern detection. Next-experiment suggestions ready to run.
7 tweets. Hook: "I quit my job 18 months ago..."
Long-form. Opens with the team moment everyone gets.
r/SideProject. Revenue numbers included.
45-sec script. Hook → Problem → Reveal → CTA.
A complete distribution workspace
Sounds like you.
Not like SaaS.
Every AI tool promises personalization. Most give you the same "I'm excited to share..." template. distro is different. Paste writing samples once. Every draft sounds like you from that point forward.
"Casual, witty, raw. Concrete numbers. First-person. Comfortable with self-deprecation."

Capture. Evaluate. Draft. Ship. Learn. The streak counter keeps the chain alive.
Builders who stopped dreading distribution
I stopped treating distribution like a chore. Now it's the 15 minutes I actually look forward to. The streak counter is evil in the best way.
The voice matching is uncanny. Pasted 3 old tweets and now every draft sounds like I wrote it. Actual me, not SaaS me.
Used to stare at the blank box for 20 min. Now I have 40+ ideas scored. Writing got easy once I stopped writing from scratch.
The peer review system is actually useful. Real builders giving real feedback. Much better than 'looks great!' in indie communities.

The post-mortem feature is worth it alone. I finally understand why my Tuesday post did 50K and Thursday's tanked.
I hate marketing. distro is the only tool that respects that. Doesn't make me sound like a LinkedIn guru. Makes me sound like me.
Shipped more in 30 days on distro than my previous 6 months combined. The compounding is real and it's embarrassingly simple.
The BYOK model is what sold me. I'm already paying Claude — no reason to pay another middleman. 9 bucks for the practice. Done.

Is BYOK really unlimited?
Yes. If you bring your own Anthropic/OpenAI/Google key, distro never meters your AI usage. We charge for the craft — the writing practice, pipeline, peer reviews — not for inference.
Do you auto-post for me?
No. You copy the draft and publish yourself. Distribution is an editorial judgment call, and we preserve it. Auto-posting is explicitly not on the roadmap.
Is there a free trial on paid plans?
14 days, no credit card required. Cancel anytime. After the trial you stay on Free unless you explicitly upgrade.
Can I import my existing posts?
Yes. CSV import on Pro+, and we're adding native importers for Typefully and Buffer next quarter.
Do you store my API keys?
Encrypted at rest with libsodium. Never logged, never returned to the client, never shared with third parties.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, data is purged within 30 days (and 35 days from backups).
