Draft

Repurposing across platforms

One idea, four platforms. What Repurpose produces and how to tune it.

8 minUpdated 2026-04-19

Repurpose takes a single idea and produces platform-native drafts in parallel — typically four platforms at once, streamed live so you can start reading while generation continues.

Default platforms

  • X / Twitter thread — 5–9 tweets, hook tweet emphasized
  • LinkedIn long-form — 1200–1600 chars, story-driven
  • Reddit submission — title + body, community-aware (r/SideProject vs r/SaaS)
  • YouTube Shorts script — 45s, Hook → Problem → Reveal → CTA

Each platform has its own prompt with character limits, formatting conventions, and community norms baked in. X drafts don't quote in LinkedIn style; LinkedIn drafts aren't Twitter threads stitched together.

Enabling more platforms

Customize → Channels lets you enable 12+ total: TikTok scripts, Instagram carousels, Threads, Bluesky, newsletter snippets, blog intro, podcast episode ideas, etc. Each enabled channel gets its own generated draft when you click Repurpose.

Variant count

Per-platform variant count defaults to 1. Bump to 3 if you want to A/B ideas. More variants = more AI tokens consumed — check your BYOK quota or credits balance.

Save-to-drafts

Hit the check icon on any variant to save it to the Drafting column of your pipeline. You can then publish manually (copy-paste) whenever you're ready. We do not auto-post — see the manifesto for why.

Regenerate

Not happy with a platform's draft? Hit Regenerate. The prompt includes "avoid this previous attempt" so you don't get the same thing back. Adjust the source idea if regeneration keeps producing similar output — usually a sign the source is the weak link.
